The studio was invited to participate in the redesign of an architectural project previously approved by the Lisbon Municipality, with the aim of developing a proposal aligned with a high-end residential program. Located on a privileged site next to the Centro Cultural de Belém, the project seeks to strengthen the relationship with its urban surroundings and its proximity to the river, adopting limestone stone as the central material of the proposal.
The building is organized over eight floors above ground, with the ground floor dedicated to two commercial and restaurant units and the remaining seven floors allocated to residential use, complemented by two underground levels for parking. The composition of the facades introduces more organic forms, particularly through the use of arches and large openings that create rhythm and depth across the elevation. The program includes 19 residential units, distributed across T3, T4 and T5 typologies, all with private outdoor spaces, reinforcing the relationship between interior and exterior and enhancing the quality of living.
